Entry Requirements
Genuine interest in the Automotive industry and sound literacy and numeracy skills. Successful completion of the Automotive Taster course is highly recommended. Successful completion of the VET Readiness Orientation (VETRO) process in Semester 2, 2025, will be required to access this course under a subsidised training contract (VFSS).
Once the Home School has completed the referral process, students will be required to undertake a Snapshot Reading and Numeracy Assessment to demonstrate sufficient literacy and numeracy ability.

Additional Information
Students are required to purchase the following Personal Protective Equipment, to be used at ALL times in the workshop:
– Steel capped boots
– Cotton long sleeve work shirt and pants
