Privacy Policy
Adelaide Hills Student Pathways (AHSPs, “we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information of everyone who uses this website, including students, parents, guardians, school staff and other visitors. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
This policy applies to ahsps.com.au and is intended to comply with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
Information we collect
We may collect the following types of personal information:
- Contact form details — name, email address, phone number, and any message you submit through our Contact page.
- Website usage data — general information such as pages visited, browser type, and referring website, collected automatically through standard web analytics.
- Communications — any information you provide when contacting us by phone or email.
Course application forms. Course application forms are hosted by a third-party provider and embedded on this website; they are not hosted on, or submitted through, ahsps.com.au. When you complete a course application form, your information is collected and stored directly by that third-party provider, and shared with the relevant school’s VET Coordinator to support enrolment. We recommend reviewing the third-party provider’s own privacy policy, available on or near the embedded form, for details of how they handle your information.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive information (such as health information) through this website. Where a VET course requires health or other sensitive details (for example, for Work Health and Safety purposes), this is collected and managed by your school or the relevant Registered Training Organisation (RTO), not by AHSPs directly.
How we use your information
We use personal information to:
- respond to enquiries submitted through our Contact page
- connect students and families with the relevant member school or VET Coordinator
- provide information about courses, events and news
- maintain and improve this website
- meet our legal and reporting obligations
Who we share your information with
We may share personal information with:
- The third-party provider hosting our course application forms, who collect and store this information directly when you submit an application
- Member schools and their VET Coordinators, where this is necessary to process a course enquiry or application
- Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) delivering a specific VET course
- Service providers who help us operate this website (for example, website hosting)
- Government or regulatory bodies, where required by law
We do not sell or rent personal information to third parties.
Students and minors
Many visitors to this website are secondary school students. Course applications are submitted through an embedded third-party form, and we recommend this occur with the involvement of a parent, guardian, or school VET Coordinator. Enrolment in a VET course is managed through the student’s school, which holds its own privacy obligations regarding student records.
Cookies and analytics
This website may use cookies and similar technologies to understand how visitors use the site and to improve functionality. You can disable cookies through your browser settings, though this may affect how the website functions.
