Training Cost

$636.00 May be subject to change in 2027.

This course is delivered by an approved registered training provider and as
such, students may be eligible to be funded for the training cost of this course under a subsidised training contract (VFSS). Please refer to your school’s VET Coordinator for more information. This does not include consumables.

Non-member schools – an additional admin levy of $150 per student.

Entry Requirements

Students in Year 11 will need to demonstrate a genuine interest or experience in the plumbing industry. Students will undertake the VET Readiness Orientation (VETRO) process in Semester 2, 2026 via a referral process completed at their Home School using an online from. Once the Home School has completed the referral process, students will be required to undertake a Snapshot Reading and Numeracy Assessment to demonstrate sufficient literacy and numeracy ability. This will be conducted at Mount Barker High School. Date to be confirmed.

Additional Information

Students will need to bring the following: charged laptop, scientific calculator, pencil, ruler, notebook and school diary.
To look after your safety, these items are compulsory: steel capped boots, 100% cotton long sleeve high-vis shirt (supplied by PEER) and long pants. No polyester blends are allowed.
