  • Cornerstone College
  • Heathfield High School
  • Hills Christian Community School
  • Mount Barker High School
  • Oakbank Area School
  • St Francis de Sales College

Announcements regarding catastrophic fire days are made at 4.10pm for the following day, and can be accessed through the Country Fire Service or the Bureau of Meteorology websites.

A USI is a reference number made up of numbers and letters. Creating a USI is free. It creates a secure online record of your nationally recognised training that you can access anytime and anywhere, and it’s yours for life.

You will need to provide your USI to the host school or training organisation (on the application form).

The USI is linked to the National Vocational Education and Training (VET) Data Collection, and this means an individual’s nationally recognised training and qualifications gained anywhere in Australia, from different training organisations, will be kept all together.

The USI will:

  • link a student’s VET achievements, regardless of where in Australia they did the course
  • give students more control over their VET information.
  • let students easily access secure digital transcripts of their achievements

South Australia has new work health and safety laws.  On this website you’ll find:

  • workplace tests for students and young workers in online activities and tests
  • lesson plans and resources in work health and safety for teachers
  • a link to the Take 10@10 resources: a series of interactive 10-minute safety presentations on a range of key topics.

SACE – how does VET fit in?

Students are able to include a significant amount of VET in their SACE studies, up to 150 SACE credits at Stage 1 and/or Stage 2 for successfully completed VET (see the SACE Board website for further information).

Students completing a full Certificate III (or higher) may be able to use this towards an ATAR for University entrance.
